dc.description.abstract Introduction. The Root Canal Treatment involves the chemico-mechanical treatment of the Root Canal System and the tridimensional sealing with guttapercha and an endodontic sealer, even when the treatment is a predictable and has a high success, it could fail due multiple factors, and a complementary treatment is required, like an endodomtic surgery/apicectomy. Apicectomy is a procedure that includes the resection of the apical portion of the root, followed by the removal of the diseased periapical tissues and retrobturation. Objective. The physico-chemical interaction between endodontic sealer and the rootend filling material employed during the surgical endodontic therapy is crucial in the short, medium- and long-term prognosis of the treatment. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the physico-chemical interaction between these components (BioRoot + Gray MTA, BioRoot + White MTA and BioRoot + Biodentine). Materials and methods. 40 premolars were employed and sectioned to obtain 4 mm dentin discs. (30 for each group) where 2 mm were filled with gray MTA, white MTA or Biodentine and the following 2 mm with BioRoot. The samples were evaluated by Vickers & push out tests. A Chemical tests such as EDS and FITR were carried out, in addition, the interface of materials were visually evaluated by SEM. Results. In relation to the Vickers and push out tests, a difference was found between the groups, the white MTA presented lower values than the other groups; The chemical elements were identified by EDS and by FTIR was found that there is a greater chemical interaction between BioRoot + Biodentine . Conclusions. According to the descriptive statistics Biodentine + BioRoot presents a better microhardness and adhesion strength than the other groups, completing that there is a greater chemical interaction in FTIR and visual interface. es_MX
